By S.F. Wright
Friday afternoons
During 7th and 8th period,
When the weekend,
And alcohol,
Are so close that you can
Taste the gin—
Those times are okay.
The weekend
Itself
Is decent,
Too.
But from Monday morning—
In fact,
From late
Sunday afternoon
Up to
The middle of Friday—
Those times aren’t.
